Kristen Stewart has apparently cancelled an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards - which she was due to appear at with Robert Pattinson.

The Twilight actress - who confessed to a "momentary indiscretion" with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders - was set to present gongs with R-Patz at the high profile show, but the Mirror reports that she has pulled out of the event.

Kristen is said to be heading to the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her new movie On The Road - which premiered in London this week minus the actress - instead.

The pair's appearance would have been the first time they had been seen together since news of the cheating scandal broke.

Their final Twilight film together, Breaking Dawn: Part 2, is due for release in November.
