NORDEN Farm in Maidenhead is gearing up for its Christmas show which opens next week.

How To Catch A Star opens on 26 November 26, in association with Blunderbus Theatre Company, and runs until December 29.

The show is based on the best-selling and award-winning book of the same name by Oliver Jeffers.

The story follows the tale of Boy who loves the stars. He watches them from his bedroom window every night. One day, the Boy sets out to catch one. Follow him on his adventure across land, sea and skies. This magical family show features live music, puppetry, storytelling and of course star-gazing.

Oliver Jeffers is an artist, illustrator and writer. How to Catch a Star was his début picture book, published in 2004. He was inspired by a moment sitting on the end of a jetty in Sydney, looking at the stars and wishing that he could find one of his very own.

The book was shortlisted for the Booktrust Early Years Award for Best New Illustrator on its release and in 2005 it won a Merit Award at the CBI/Bisto Book of the Year Awards. His other picture books include Lost & Found, The Way Back Home, Up & Dow
