Murdered mum's son jailed for child porn
 |
| Helen Chung's son was jailed yesterday for child pornography offences. |
THE son of a murdered restaurant owner was jailed for 18 months yesterday after his collection of child pornography was found by cops searching for clues after his mother was beaten to death.
Gordon Chung, 36, son of 65-year-old Kam Fum Chung, also known as Helen, was arrested after officers stumbled across the library of "extreme sex" photographs.
He subsequently admitted to ten counts of making indecent photographs of children and five of posessing indecent photographs of children.
Cops searched the property in Meadow View, Cowley, for clues after Helen was savagely beaten to death there by brothers Dean and Michael Atkins.
A total of 9,402 pictures depicting girls as young as four-years-old were found on floppy disks, CDs and DVDs.
Prosecutor Peter Zinner, said: "In a police interview he said he liked extreme sex and would record everything that he accessed."
A full report of the sentencing will follow later.
