Boris ahead in Hillingdon and Ealing

| Mr Johnson has won the most Ealing and Hillingdon votes so far |
Boris Johnson is ahead in the votes counted from Ealing and Hillingdon residents.
With 73 per cent of first preference votes counted, Tory Mr Johnson has pulled out a healthy lead over current mayor Ken Livingstone.
Mr Johnson is the bookie's favourite to win, but there is a long way to go, with second preference votes still to be counted.
A result is expected later this evening.

It is heartwarming to see so many people have voted in this election. It truly shows how the average working person is totally fed up with paying over the odds for second rate services.
