AN area of West Drayton will become a no-go area for troublemakers from Saturday.

Hillingdon Police and Hillingdon Council have agreed to put a dispersal order on the streets around Percy Bush Road following complaints from residents about anti-social behaviour.

Particular problems highlighted by police include alcohol and drug-related activities.

Sergeant Darren Cornish, of West Drayton Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said his officers intend to strongly police the order to cut down on the nuisance.

He said: "Police have successfully used these powers to deal with youths in hot spot areas for disorder and anti-social behaviour.

"This area has been a cause for concern to local residents. It is our intention to enforce this order robustly to enhance the quality of life of our local residents."

The order, which comes into effect from 8am on Saturday and lasts for six months, gives officers the power to take home anyone under 16 and not accompanied by an adult, and split up groups of people.

They can also tell anyone who does not live in the area to leave and not come back for up to 24 hours. Anyone disobeying these orders can face a fine of up to £2,500 or a prison term.

The area covered by the order will include Pocock Avenue, Hanson Close, Bickfields Way and Starveall Close.

Yes and did that stop us from getting Family spat on by thugs, racially arson attacked or last night when my wifes car was vandalised. We even called the police and told them our problems but they still didnt turn up until 30mins past the incident and in that time they came back and did it again. My life was also threatened. Bldy useless!
