Victim had back and chest injuries

THE victim of a stabbing in Uxbridge suffered injuries to his back, leg and chest.

The 21-year-old, who was attacked in Cowley Mill Road, near its junction with Cowley Road, was taken to Hillingdon Hospital by ambulance at around 11.30pm last night.

He has since been transferred to Harefield Hospital in a stable condition and police have contacted his family.

Roads in the area remain closed this morning.
