Hillingdon Borough have appointed Rob Burton as their new manager following Steve Ringrose's resignation.

The 29-year-old has been in charge of the Reserve team but he has stepped up to the challenge of managing Boro this season.

Burton said: "It has been made public that the club have financial problems. It's now about getting a team together on a very limited budget who will compete at this level.

"I feel I can bring a team in to compete this season and give the club a base to move on as things hopefully settle down off the pitch.

"I would like to thank the chairman and directors for giving me this opportunity and also a big thank you to Steve Ringrose who has really helped me over the last year."
