BIRDS of prey will feature at the Ruislip Woods Festival on the Willow Lawn on Sunday, May 12.
This year’s festival will be the 16th and, for the first time, heavy horses will be there to demonstrate hauling timber.
Attractions from past years will be making a return, including basket makers, ferret races and wood carving. Morris dancers and a dog show will also entertain the crowds.
Ruislip Woods Trust secretar, Debbie Valman said: “This is an exciting day out for families, with many hands-on activities.
"It offers a flavour of woodland life through the ages and, if people want to join in the guided walks on offer, they will get to explore these special woods with the experts.”
The trust was set up by residents’ associations to protect Ruislip Woods and encourage public access.
