Beauty treatment to rock climbing - plenty of choice in Hillingdon adult learning programme
THIS year's Adult and Community Learning programme in Hillingdon has been launched with a number of new courses.
A programme of cultural and vocational courses, aimed at adults of all ages, starts again in September with drop-in advice,
information and guidance sessions at times and places to suit all needs.
The list includes introductory short courses in beauty treatments, an art programme based on exhibition visits, 30-minute lunchtime language learning
and a sensory-garden course for adults with learning difficulties.
This year’s curriculum has also brought back old favourites such as the popular violin-making course. Others include activities that
all the family can take part in, such as our indoor climbing. Help is available with fees for those on a lower income.
