Adoption service aims to answer all your questions
PEOPLE who have been adopted, adopters or birth families can all benefit from the launch of Hillingdon's adoption support service.
It is run by skilled social workers from the council’s adoption team.
Appointments are available on the first and third Monday of every month, typically lasting around 45 minutes. They provide support on questions such as how to get in touch with a child who has been adopted after they turn 18, or a referral to other services, such as counselling.
Cllr David Simmonds, council deputy leader, said: “If you have a question you’ve always wanted to ask or feel you need some advice or support, do not be afraid to book an appointment."
Call Monique Smuts on 01895 277838 or firstname.lastname@example.org or Jerome Clark on 01895 277840 or email@example.com.
Hillingdon’s next adoption information event will take place on Thursday, August 29 at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge, 9:30am-12:30pm, in Committee Room 6.
