Police were called in yesterday when traffic lights failed in Kingston town centre.
Traffic lights failed in Wood Street at the junction with Down Hall Road and Steadfast Road as well as in Richmond Road at the junction with Cromwell Road and in Fife Road.
Kingston police were overseeing traffic.
Earlier on Monday London Ambulance took a man in his 50s to Kingston Hospital following an accident in Cambridge Road at about 1pm.
