BALLOON artistry and French polishing are just two of the creative courses on offer for Hillingdon adults at seven venues across the borough.
The council’s Adult and Community Learning team runs a series of courses designed for those looking to get back into work, make a career change or just add a new skill.
One such course includes a 30-week part-time violin-making class, where students aim to construct a violin, viola or cello from scratch.
A host of new vocational courses have been added for the first time.
Some of the more inventive include an exercise to music qualification, as well as City and Guilds certificates in fashion.
Short and longer courses are available, with flexible study options on a full or part-time basis.
