MEN, women and dogs can sign up for the fourth annual Michael Sobell Hospice Ladies in the Night walk, sponsored by Savills estate agents, on Friday, June 6. Registration is at 8.30pm and the walks starts at 10.
This is the biggest event in the hospice’s fund-raising calendar and the aim is to attract more than 700 walkers and beat last year’s £50,000 raised.
Walkers can choose from either a 5.5 or nine-mile route, starting at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, with a fun warm-up session on the lawn followed by a magical moonlit walk through the local area, including Northwood, Moor Park and Northwood Hills, before returning to the hospice for a well-deserved breakfast.
Walkers are encouraged to dress up in pink with flashing novelties, and the men can dress up as women. Pooches are also welcome.
You can register on www.michaelsobellhospice.co.uk for £20, which includes a T-shirt, fund-raising pack and breakfast, or on the night for £25. More details on the main website or call Ophelia or Trish on 01923 844730 for an entry form.
