An exciting new event, Sunday Sessions Ruislip, will take place every second Sunday of the month at Manor Park in Bury Street, with activities for all age groups, including acoustic acts, comedy, street food, beer and family entertainment.

Monday, 11 August

Explore the many different landscapes of Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre, where creepy crawlies and other small creatures live. Families are invited to the free Minibeast Hunt from 11am-noon and 1-2pm.

Looking for ways to keep the kids active during the summer holiday? The holiday club at Yiewsley and West Drayton Community Centre will be holding a week of games, keep-fit sessions, craft, singing, stories and much more, from 10am-1pm.

Wednesday, August 13

Pack your basket and favourite teddy as Yiewsley Recreation Ground will be hosting its free summer picnic, a two-hour session of stories, simple craft and face-painting. Starts at 11.30am.

Sunday, August 17

Hillingdon Medieval Festival is back this year to celebrate the history of Manor Farm heritage site in Ruislip. Entertainment will include jousting, living history re-enactments, medieval dancing and hog roast. From 11am-4pm. Admission is free.
