THE Paul Fox Social Club is holding its seventh annual charity event at Wealdstone Football Club, Grosvenor Vale, Ruislip, on Saturday October 4, in aid of Michael Sobell Hospice.
Paul was looked after by hospice staff, so the proceeds will be going to a fitting cause.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £8.
This year’s headline acts are punk rock band Chelsea, whose debut single Right to Work was included in Mojo magazine’s list of the best punk rock singles of all time, and The Moonstompers, a rock steady ska and reggae band.
Paul Fox was guitarist in the late 70s/early 80s punk band The Ruts, known for hits such as Babylon’s Burning, In a Rut and Staring at the Rude Boy.
Every year since his death, his friends have held a live music event to commemorate him.
Tickets are available in advance from www.wegottickets.com and www.stargreen.com or at the door.
