FIVE-TIME Olympic gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave will visit Brunel University, Uxbridge, next Tuesday to encourage students into sporting careers.
The National Sports Roadshow is visiting Brunel for the second year running, giving sixth-formers and university students the chance to learn from professionals and in the sport, leisure and fitness industry.
Sir Steve will host a question and answer session about how he climbed to the pinnacle of his career as a record-breaking rower.
Other presentations will focus on coaching overseas, working in the sports media and becoming a personal trainer.
Brunel academics Costas Karageorghis and Misia Gervis will present a session on careers in sports science.
