FIVE fire crews put out a blaze at a garage in Mildred Avenue, Hayes, yesterday (Friday) afternoon.
There were gas cylinders on the site and firefighters set up a hazard zone around the area in the interests of safety.
These were allowed to cool under supervision after the fire was put out.
The U4 bus was diverted during the incident.
Around 25 firemen tacked the blaze. A car in the garage was damaged but no-one was injured.
The cause is under investigation.
