A HILLINGDON music therapy group attended a special performance from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall.
The annual Friendship Matinee is an opportunity for those involved in charities or communities projects to see a world-class show.
A group of 19 people from the Hillingdon group Music in Mind listened to the music of film composer John Barry.
Music in Mind teaches musical skills as a form of therapy to help overcome mental health problems.
The group have been promised a guided tour of the Royal Albert Hall as part of next year’s matinee.
Members paid just £5 for the event – a huge saving at a venue where tickets are often priced upwards of £40.
