SCORES of volunteers joined forces with Hillingdon Council to keep the borough looking clean and green in a host of clean-up events at the weekend.
It was part of the Big Tidy Up, a national project by Keep Britain Tidy, designed to make the capital cleaner.
Events in Hillingdon were organised by the council's Green Spaces team. Nearly 80 bags of rubbish were collected on the day.
Cllr Jonathan Bianco, cabinet member for property, said: "We are very grateful for all the support we have from our volunteer groups. It was a very productive day and has left the borough looking cleaner and greener."
