PEOPLE who enjoy something for nothing are in luck this month as Hayes teenager Trixsta is running a #19actsofkindness campaign.

After turning 19 on October 23, aspiring musician Trixsta, of North Hyde Road, decided to bring smiles to strangers’ faces from November 1-19.

The artist - real name Tanaka Sasha - has so far completed six random gestures, including buying lunch for a homeless person, buying flowers for an A&E patient and giving gloves to a passer-by.

He hopes to go some way in dispelling the stereotype that teenage youngsters are reckless and, instead, give back to people in the community.

He said: “My management company, MOSK Management, and I thought it’d be great to do something that makes people smile.

“It’s winter, it’s cold enough already. Let’s make people happy!

Trixsta said most people welcome the gifts and are very chatty and only a few have rejected his kind offers.

He said: “Mostly, I think everyone who knows me is proud of the idea. My friends have volunteered to help and some have even been inspired to start their own lists.”

The largest random act for Trixsta and his friends will be next Saturday, November 15, when they will spend the afternoon picking up rubbish in Hayes town centre.

The aspiring musician says his desire to spread happiness extends to his music, which he makes to carry on the legacy of his musician father, who died in 2002.

You can follow Trixsta’s #19actsofkindness via his Facebook page at ‘Trixsta Artist’.

His debut single will be released towards the end of January on all social media platforms.
