A GIANT poppy, signed by hundreds of Brunel University students, offering their thoughts for the 100th anniversary of World War One, was laid today at a ceremony organised by the Students’ Union.
Staff and students held candles during a two-minute silence in the Uxbridge quad as several hundred staff and students looked on. The candles were blown out after two minutes.
