YOUNG disabled people in Hillingdon can now join a new sports club, based at West Drayton Young People's Centre.
The club is free to attend and meets on Wednesdays from 7-9pm at the centre in Rowhleys Place, Harmondsworth Road. It is funded by Sport England and run by Disability Sports Coach.
It aims to introduce people with disabilities over the age of 11 to a range of sports, including judo, athletics, boccia, goalball, sitting volleyball and fencing.
Hillingdon Council also runs a disability sports club for people aged 8-19 at Queensmead Sports Centre, South Ruislip, during term time.
