POLICE in Hillingdon are continuing to appeal for help in locating Bronwyn Davies, 60, who is missing from West Drayton.
Despite a number of appeals, the last confirmed sighting of Mrs Davies was on New Year's Day, at approximately 11am as she sat on the wooden steps leading up to the fields and walkways of Stockley Park.
Police believe she may have continued east along the Grand Union Canal towpath towards Hayes.
Today (Thursday), officers were in Hayes, handing out leaflets, putting up posters and appealing for help to find Mrs Davies.
In the hope of jogging people's memories, they have also released this new image of Mrs Davies and one of the Tesco Bag for Life carrier bag that her family believe she had with her when she went missing.
Det Sgt Andrew Grant said: "Bronwyn's family is naturally anxious and desperate for news. Many other lines of inquiry are being conducted in the hope that her disappearance will be explained.
“However, the public's help may be crucial in this case and I would appeal to anyone who thinks they may have any information, no matter how small, to contact police."
Call the Hillingdon Missing Persons Unit on 020 8246 1710 or 020 8246 1732; or call police on 101.
