PIELD Heath House School in Pield Heath Road, Hillingdon, has been rated as 'outstanding' by the Diocese of Westminster.
The school is for young people with special educational needs between the ages of seven and 19 and is recognised by the Department for Education under the trusteeship of the Sisters of The Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
Inspectors, appointed by the Archbishop, review and evaluate the effectiveness of the school in providing a Catholic education.
They found the overall effectiveness of classroom religious education was excellent.
The report went on to say: “'This is an outstanding Catholic school in its effectiveness in developing students' experience of the richness of a Catholic way of living and believing.”
Inspectors, though, found the school to be “a most welcoming community which promotes respect for all faiths, beliefs and backgrounds”.
