SHOPPERS in Uxbridge will be treated to a taste of the Continent from Thursday-Saturday, March 5-7, when market traders arrive from across the Channel to pitch their stalls in the High Street.
The market is back in Uxbridge by popular demand after three successful visits in 2014.
Its ongoing appeal is down to the quality and authenticity of the traders and their merchandise, and the atmosphere of conviviality they bring.

Continental delicacies, objets d’arts and fashion items will be on display and available to buy. They will include:
French delicatessen, charcuterie, saucisson and cured meats
Italian grill
Bread, pastry and Viennoiserie
Crêpes and waffles
French cheeses
Moroccan couscous, merguez sausage & ratatouille
Hog roast sandwiches
Dried fruit, nuts, baklava, nougat and Turkish Delight
Olives
Coffee and cocoa
Italian confectionery
Soaps from Marseille
Handbags and purses
Glass, china and pottery
Balinese crafts.
All traders are checked and accredited by The Market People (themarketpeople.com), a new system of accreditation for market professionals .
The market is in the High Street next Thursday-Saturday, 9am-6.30pm.
