History was brought vividly to life at Cranford Country Park on Sunday.
The Berkeley family, who lived at Cranford in 1660, were back in residence with their servants and a small garrison of militia who were billeted with them, thanks to the efforts of the 17th century Life and Times Living History Group.
Visitors were able to enter into the world of a renaissance household and see duelling officers, and displays of musket, pike and artillery.
They also watched the servants preparing food and doing craftwork and members of the well heeled Berkeley family in residence.
