MICHAEL Sobell Hospice has appointed Lindsey Fealey as its new Chief Executive Officer.
She has joined the charity from Florence Nightingale Hospice in Aylesbury, where she was Director of Income Generation and Business Development. Lindsey will be replacing the former CEO, Helen Elliott.
Lindsey worked at Florence Nightingale Hospice for more than seven years and was Head of Fundraising before being promoted in 2013.
She was co-founder and CEO of Canceractive, Britain´s leading complementary and integrative cancer charity. Previously, she also worked for 18 years in sales, marketing, exhibitions and event management.
Born and educated in Rickmansworth, now lives in Gawcott, near Buckingham, and is married with four sons, two-granddaughters and one step-granddaughter.
She said: “Having experienced family and friends who have benefited from hospice care, I appreciate just what a difference can be made to both patients and families at this difficult time.
“I am committed to ensuring that Michael Sobell Hospice continues to be the wonderful place that it is, with specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting illnesses.”
