THIS year marks the centenary of Harefield Hospital, which was set up to care for injured Australian servicemen during World War One but is now renowned for its pioneering treatments to combat heart and lung disease.
To celebrate the milestone, Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity is organising two special events and everyone from the locality is welcome to come.
The first is a Champagne Picnic, to take place in the beautiful grounds of Harefield Hospital on Friday, June 19 from 4.30pm.
The £15 ticket price includes a small hamper of food, glass of champagne and entertainment from a live band! To book your ticket, visit www.rbhcharity.org/champagne-picnic
The following day at 7.30pm, you can enjoy a three-course meal, magicians and music at the Charity’s Midsummer Masked Ball, taking place in a luxury marquee next to the hospital.
Tickets cost £100 each and can be bought at www.rbhcharity.org/midsummer-ball You can also call Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity on 01895 828820.
