THERE was a salty smell in the air last weekend in Uxbridge as young pirates and mermaids took over the intu Uxbridge shopping centre.
Children were taken under the sea on Sunday with free Kids’ Club activities for all ages. Young shoppers could enjoy face-painting, portraits and story-telling, plus the chance to meet intu’s real-life pirate and mermaid.
Peppa Pig arrived on Tuesday and Wednesday as she tours across intu centres this May.
From today (Thursday) until Sunday, children can get creative on the art wall in the centre, as well as joining in with Big Treat activities on Saturday and Sunday.
They can follow the yellow brick road on Sunday for the next Kids Club event. Tin Man and Scarecrow will be visiting from 11am-5pm.
