SHOPPERS in Uxbridge had a weekend of treats at the intu shopping centre in Uxbridge.
They could watch dishes being rustled up by two celebrity chefs and even taste a sample.
The UK’s youngest head chef, Luke Thomas, took the stage on Saturday and Michelin award-winner Jean-Christophe Novelli on Sunday in The Piazza on Sunday.
It was film fever at the Odeon as the Secret Cinema arrived.
Throughout May, shoppers were invited to see a secret movie, with lucky applicants selected to see a film for free at the weekend. The title would be revealed on the day.
The choice was Frozen on Saturday morning, plus the classic Dirty Dancing for the grown-ups.
Young adults and their escorts from Hillingdon Carers could also catch a movie as intu Uxbridge invited them along.
Other treats for visitors were free pampering, including mini manicures and facials, tasty smoothies created by pedal power on the smoothie bike, and the chance to get creative on the Big Treat Art Wall.
