SUMMER is here and, with it, comes the usual intoxicating colours, scents and sights of Uxbridge Continental Market, which returns to the high street for its first visit since March.

A group of continental traders will be pitching their stalls in Uxbridge High Street for three days from Thursday to Saturday, July 2-4.

Uxbridge residents and visitors can again enjoy continental delicacies, as well as crafts, fashion and objets d’art in an event featuring 27 stalls.

On display and for sale are artisanal terrines, patés, charcuterie and cured meats, freshly-baked French bread, continental sausages and cheeses, fresh olives and home-made olive oil, mustards and pasta.

For those of a more sweet-toothed disposition, there will also be croissants and crépes, Italian confectionery, candy, fudge, pastries and more.

Soap from Marseille, Balinese crafts, crystals, fossils and mineral specimens, plus glass, china and pottery will also be on sale.

The market will be open each day from 9am-6.30pm.
