A WOMAN and her teenage daughter were attacked and racially abused after a row about seating on a bus in Uxbridge.

A second daughter, 11, was also racially abused on the bus on Vine Street, heading in the direction of West Drayton.

Police have released CCTV images in a bid to trace a group of five young men they would like to speak to in connection with the racially aggravated assault this summer.

All the men boarded the Route U1 bus at Crown Walk on Saturday August 8 at 7.45pm.

Police said two of the group of white men - one bare-chested and the other described as having a strong Irish accent - ended up punching the 40-year-old woman and her 16-year-old daughter after an argument over seating arrangements.

The suspects are described as aged between 16 and 20.

Anyone who can identify them is asked to call Hillingdon Community Safety Unit via 101, quoting reference CRIS 0916114/15.
