DOLLY Parton’s hit musical 9 to 5 is coming to Ruislip for the first time this spring.

The spectacular stage version of the 1980 smash hit film will be debuting at the Winston Churchill Hall by theatre company WOS Productions May 11-14.

Director Trish Tebbatt has been putting the cast through their paces since before Christmas to make the show a success.

“I was absolutely delighted to be asked to direct and choreograph the stage version of 9 to 5 The Musical, especially as this will be the amateur premiere in our region” she said.

“I have directed and choreographed many shows for WOS Productions and other companies and each show presents its own set of challenges.

“However, this show is so well written and funny with great music and lyrics by Dolly Parton that the cast are embracing it fully and working extremely hard to bring you a fantastic show.”

The musical tells the story of three co-workers, Violet, Judy and Doralee, coping with the daily grind of the office environment in the late 1970s.

Pushed to boiling point they concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical and hypocritical boss.
