Thieves who stole a motorbike outside a supermarket rode away while its alarm was sounding.
The blue Suzuki GSXR1000 was stolen from the car park of Asada in St Albans Road on Thursday, August 25 between 12.30pm and 1pm.
The bike was parked right next to the main entrance when it was taken.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information.
PC Erik Gale, who is investigating, said: βIt has been reported that the bike was seen being ridden off with its alarm sounding and lights flashing and was in convoy with another motorcycle.
βI am appealing for anyone who thinks they may have seen the stolen bike to please contact police. I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed people acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident or saw what happened.β
Anyone with information should contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
