A site has been decided for a new secondary school in Croxley Green.

Croxley Danes School will be built on Baldwins Lane following an agreement between Hertfordshire County Council and Transport for London.

The school, which is set to open in 2017, will be sited at St Clement Danes School for its first year.

David Williams, Hertfordshire County Council cabinet member for education, said: “This is excellent news and I’m delighted that our hard work on acquiring the site has come to fruition.

“We are committed to ensuring that every child in the county has a school place, and this will help us to meet the forecast growth in demand for school places in south west Hertfordshire.”
