A football team’s plans for a 200-seat stand have been approved.
The proposal, submitted by King Langley Football Club chairman Derry Edgar, received no objections from councillors at a parish council meeting, last night.
Clerk to King Langley Parish Council Paul Dunham said the council did express concern over parking at the club, but given the number of supporters who will use the stand, it is unlikely the development will exacerbate any current issues.
Gaywood Park, in Hempstead Road, has three football pitches that are used by the football club, along with the ladies’ team and a number of youth clubs.
