Jennifer Harvey from Berry Recruitment was named ‘branch person’ of the year – ahead of more than 200 colleagues.

The event was held at the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum and she was presented with her award by group chairman Tony Berry.

There are more than 30 branches within the group and the Croydon operation continues to excel.

Chris Chown, managing director, said: “This award recognises those who are helpful, responsive and accurate – prized virtues within recruitment.

“Jennifer’s talents were recognised by her colleagues and the directors and she is a very deserving winner of this award.

“As a group BRG has seen a fantastic start to 2017 with a 41 per cent increase in gross profit in January compared with the same month last year. And the February and March figures have followed that trend.

“There remains an extremely positive outlook and I sense confidence is growing.”

BRG is on track to record a turnover well in excess of £60m for last year.

It has several brands including Berry Recruitment, Wild Recruitment, Wild Berry Associates, and Express Rail Services.
