After what happened in central London yesterday, the capital is waking up still confused and shocked at what unfolded.

In the meantime, here’s everything you need to know to make sure you’re safe and on time for work this morning.

Weather

It’s going to be a cloudy day in east London, with temperature highs of 11 degrees.

Expect it to feel a bit warmer from around midday, with sun peeking through the clouds before nightfall at 5pm.

Tube

No entry/exit and interchange only at Westminster Station for the police investigation into yesterday’s attack to continue.

Embankment Station is open.

There is no London Overground service between Romford and Upminster while a signal problem is fixed.

Expect delays of up to 15 minutes on Greater Anglia trains between Stratford and Shenfield due to overhead line problems at Romford. Tickets are being accepted on c2c and London Underground services.

Minor delays on the Northern Line between Kennington and Camden Town due to a "customer incident" at London Bridge.

There is a good service on all other lines.

Traffic

Traffic heavier than normal on A406 North Circular Road Southbound between A118 (Ilford Flyover) and A13 (Beckton Roundabout).

Heavy traffic on A406 North Circular Road Westbound between A104 (Waterworks Corner, Woodford) and A112 (Crooked Billet Underpass, Walthamstow).

Heavy traffic on M11 Southbound between J6 M25 and J4 A406 North Circular (Woodford).

Queueing traffic on A12 into town between Beehive Lane and A406 North Circular Road (Redbridge Roundabout).
