After reading this week’s Watford Observer front page report of ‘end of the line for extension of the Metropolitan line’ it seems to be that we can kiss goodbye to the £9.6 million of ratepayers’ money.
This information has been gained by a Freedom of Information request by the Watford Observer.

So therefore why did this Liberal Democrat-run council cough up and waste the colossal sum of £9.6million on a White Elephant that has hit the buffers?
Surely a better and a relatively cheaper option for this Liberal Democrat council would have been to invite local bus companies to tender for the contract of running a bus service from Watford Met then with bus stops along the proposed route of the Met line extension.
