A trial date has been set for two teenagers charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old man.

Police were called to Newnham Close, in Northolt, where they found Abdullahi Tarabi, from Greenford, with stab wounds in his stomach, at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, April 11.

He was taken to a north London hospital but was pronounced dead just after 5.35pm.

Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, were charged on Saturday, April 15, with murder and possession of a pointed and bladed object.

They appeared in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court later that day.

On Wednesday, April 19, both defendants appeared on a video link at the Old Bailey and were taken into custody.

A plea and case management hearing will take place on Wednesday, July 5.

A trial date at the Old Bailey was set for Monday, 18 September.

Three 19-year-old men and an 18-year-old man were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and then arrested on suspicion of murder.

They have since been released on bail.
