This Sunday, thousands of runners will take to the streets of the capital for perhaps the world’s most famous long-distance race – the London Marathon.
Given the time of year, the weather for the 26-mile course has often been a mixed bag in the past. But what’s it looking like this year?

Well, if you’re a runner, conditions are predicted to be pretty much perfect.
According to the Met Office, it will be a mild but not a hot day with a little breeze which should nicely cool down tired competitors.
However it may be a little chilly if you’re heading into London to cheer them on so make sure you wrap up warm.
Coverage of the event will start at 8.30am on BBC1, with the wheelchair race starting at 8.55am, followed by the Paralympic runners at 9am.
The elite women’s race starts at 9.15am before the men join the pack at 9.55am.
