Thousands of people gathered for the annual Rickmansworth Canal Festival.
Taking place every year on the third weekend of May, the festival is the finale of the town’s Rickmansworth Week.
Held along the Aquadrome, the towpath between Stockers Lock and Batchworth, the main attraction was the collection of more than 100 colourful canal boats from across the country.

The festival started as just a canal based event in 1993, but now it attracts more than 20,000 people every year and there are also music and refreshments available.

Dr David Montague, the festival director, said: "It was a successful and much-loved event, even though we had an incredible downpour of rain the week leading up to it.
"Luckily, the weather cleared up just in time for the weekend and on Sunday afternoon, thousands of people sat in the sunshine and enjoyed the music."
Paul Green and Jacqui Antoine posted pictures of some of the canal boats on to the Watford Observer Camera Club.
