Amid a buzz of cheering spectators, the ninth Annual Stockley Park 10K Race took place through the leafy grounds of the business park last Sunday.
As the sun shone down on the expectant runners Carol Melvin, Mayor of Hillingdon, started the race.
400 runners took part in the event organized by Purple Patch Running, which also included a shorter race for juniors.
The race village was based at The Bower Building, providing a carnival atmosphere with refreshments donated by Lucozade Ribena Suntory and food stalls.
Prizes and medals were given out to first, second and third places in both the adult and junior races.
This was the first year Stockley Park entered its own team, and Aston Woodward was the first member of the team across the line.
Pieter Borchardt, estates director at Stockley Park, said: “We are delighted to see people come from far and wide to take part in this great event.
“Our parkland setting makes this the perfect location and every year it gets bigger and bigger.
“Now in our ninth year, it is proving to be a very popular event in the running calendar.”
