The Radlett Festival will take place this weekend.

Entertainment will run between 12pm to 5pm this Sunday at the Phillimore Recreation Grounds in Gills Hill.

Music from school choirs, singer-songwriters, and a brass band will be performing on the throughout the afternoon.

There will also be a funfair, a dog show, commercial stalls, food stands offering different cuisines and a bar for festival-goers to enjoy.

Member of the organising committee Clive Glover said: “We hope to attract up to 4,000 people as long as the weather is good and aim for everyone to meet friends and neighbours and have a great time.”

Entrance for adults will cost £2.50 and children go free.

The festival has been running since 2004 and any excess money raised is put towards helping charities within the Parish of Aldenham.

The organisation has raised more than £60,000 since the event began and have donated more than £48,000 to various charities.

Last year’s donations went to supporting the Radlett Archives Group, installing a new bench at the Theobald Street bus stop, replacing the cooker for the Rendevous Lunch Club and the Christmas lunch for Phillimore Court residents.
