Despite higher temperatures, expect rain today
Summer could already be over as thunderstorms have been predicted for this evening.
The Met Office released weather warnings predicting lightning striking disrupting power supplies and potential flooding disrupting homes and businesses in the east of England.
Heavy rain should carry on throughout the night in Southern, northern England, the Midlands and north Wales.
The forecast is dry but cloudy overnight for Watford, with cooler temperatures than the rest of the week.
