A hospice has opened its 19th charity shop as it continues to expand and raise vital funds to help maintain its work.
Harrow’s St Luke’s Hospice, which cares for people with cancer and other serious progressive illnesses, now has representation in Wealdstone.
The shop, which is located in High Street, stocks a number of products including clothes, shoes, jewellery, toys and games.
Its opening was attended by several supporters of the charity who praised its brightness and welcoming nature of all the staff.
St Luke’s said it was grateful for all the backing it receives in Wealdstone and across the region.
“The amazing support St Luke’s Hospice receives from the local community at their shops provides vital funds for the Hospice to continue the best possible care,” it said.
“St Luke’s welcomes support both through buying from their shops and donating items.
“You can also buy a St Luke’s lottery ticket at any of the shops with 15 winners being drawn every week.”
