Three Rivers District Council is encouraging older people to get involved in their forum in order to have their say on issues occurring in the area.
An afternoon of tea and cake will take place at the Pensioners’ Forum on October 27, from 2 to 4pm in the Penn Chamber at Three Rivers House in Rickmansworth.
On the agenda will be Three Rivers Museum talking to members about the archives at the museum, including old films of the area, such as Rickmansworth Week in 1956.
The chairman of the council, Diana Barber, will then talk about her role, as she attends many events and official engagements throughout the district.
In addition, people will be able to discover more about the bookshop in the heart of Chorleywood before being given the opportunity to raise any other issues you would like to raise.
To be added to the mailing list, receive details of future meetings, help with transport or any other information, residents can contact 01923 776611 or email enquiries@threerivers.gov.uk
