Pet owners are being encouraged to help make a homeless animal happy this Christmas by bringing their pet along to a charity’s festive bazaar.
The National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT), which operates rescue and rehoming centres for animals who find themselves without a family, is fundraising for the animals in their care this winter.
The trust will be hosting a Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, December 3, to raise money and support the cause.
Centre manager Jackie de Friez said: “Bring your four-legged friends and enjoy a day out for all of the family.
“On the day we’ll have fun stalls, a Santa’s Grotto and a fun dog show with loads of categories.
“The Bazaar will be hosted at the centre, from 11am until 3pm.”
