An arts centre has announced its programme for half term, with a host of workshops and activities on the bill.

Professional animation artist Gemma Burditt will lead a four-day ‘Amazing Animation Workshop’ at Harrow Arts Centre, giving kids the chance to develop their artistic skills and make their own creative animation.

Designed for children aged seven to 12, all those taking part will receive the nationally-accredited qualification Arts Award Discover!

And younger children can get involved with the arts centre’s specially-designed film days, with animated hits Boss Baby and Zootropolis on show this February.

They will get the chance to sing along with the films’ songs, while an expert ‘animal designer’ will be on hand to help them make animal hats inspired by their favourite Zootropolis characters.

The workshop runs daily from 1pm to 4pm, on February 13 to February 16. Boss Baby will be shown on February 14 with Zootropolis hitting the screen on February 16.
