A 32-ACRE park at the heart of the 1,300-home St Andrew’s Park in Uxbridge has been handed over by developers to the borough.
It is believed to be the largest new public green space in Greater London since the Olympic Park.
The open space at the former RAF Uxbridge base runs along the banks of the River Pinn and has not previously been accessible to the public.
Partners VINCI and St Modwen are handing it over for community use as part of its regeneration of the site.
